Steamed Fish Tilapia

The first time I've known this dish, was when I saw a TV show that gives reviews on restaurants found around Quezon City where they served home-cooked meal that were also relatively cheap. From the looks of the patrons and the host itself, I could say that it truly taste really really good. Did not waste any more time, the next morning I search for salmon fish which is rare in our area.

Ginataang Tahong

This is an enhanced variation of how I cook marine mussels or "tahong" in Filipino term. I used "mustasa" as my veggie instead of the usual "malunggay" to add a distinct taste to it. However, if you prefer "malunggay" go ahead. There's nothing wrong with it. Anyway, this packs a lot of vitamins and minerals which helps in your daily needs, such as, Vitamin B12, Manganese, Iron and Vitamin C.

Calamares

This dish was introduced to me when my family got a chance to have our summer vacation in Subic Zambales. The resort there serves Calamares as our pulutan for an ice-cold Light beer. Little did I know that it would be an instant hit. And this does not only serves as our pulutan but also main dish along with a hot rice and soup.

Fish Escabeche

My daughter loves fish the same way she loves chicken. To serve other than the usual fried fish. I tried another variety and viola. It was an immediate hit. Then a kiss and hug followed.

Chili Shrimp

Chili Shrimp is one of my favorite seafood dish. I love the sweetness and spiciness of its flavor. More so when served with hot plain rice.
